Our senior associate, Roberto Rodr\u00edguez, participated as a speaker at the 8th “Encuentros LaLiga del Derecho del Deporte”, and spoke about the taxation of certain foreign clubs in the transfer operations of players to Spain in the light of the recent rulings of the Supreme Court that have been pronounced on this matter. He was joined by Alberto Palomar Olmeda (Accredited Professor (ANECA) of Administrative Law at the Universidad Carlos III), who summarized and analyzed legislation and new developments in sports law; and Lourdes L\u00f3pez (Professor of Labor Law and Social Security at the Universidad de Cantabria), who spoke about compensation for unfair dismissal or early termination in the field of sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
