Luis Torres – Septi\u00e9n Warren is Partner-Director of Senn, Ferrero, Asociados M\u00e9xico since its opening in 2019. He has extensive experience in Sports and Entertainment Law, Industrial Property, Arbitration and Litigation. As part of his experience in the legal field, he has collaborated in Garrigues Sports & Entertainment and in 2009, he developed and consolidated the area of Sports and Entertainment Law in the law firm Mijares, Angoitia Cort\u00e9s y Fuentes, SC, in which he advised federations, sports entities, athletes, athletes and professionals from both sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, he has participated and has stood out for his intervention in contentious or arbitration proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and in disciplinary proceedings before commissions created by the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), International Football Association Federation (FIFA), North Central American and Caribbean Confederation (CONCACAF), as well as protections trials before District Courts and Collegiate Circuit Courts, Federal Court of Fiscal and Administrative Justice and the Judiciary of the Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has extensive experience in Intellectual Property issues including legal advice in the entertainment industry, particularly in film, television, music, regulation, as well as the registration of all types of works, brands, notices and commercial names, administrative procedures for invalidity, revocation and infringement, trials and appeals on claims for damages for violation of industrial property rights and all types of proceedings before the National Institute of Copyright and Mexican Institute of Industrial Property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His knowledge in the sports field has led him to become General Manager of football clubs in Mexico, which he has successfully managed, achieving promotion to the First Division with Necaxa Football Club, and developing and consolidating the first project in Mexico with foreign investment by part of Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid and Atl\u00e9tico de San Luis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
